The Product Manager for our commercial aircraft operator solution shepherds product investments from conceive through to retirement. You will be responsible for the overall market success of offerings within his authority. Focused primarily on understanding commercial aviation maintenance market needs, you will continuously engages the market to build investment cases with crisp and differentiated value proposition, and in alignment with the IFS overall vision and strategy. Once you set the goals, you will work closely with the development team to ensure the solution delivers on those goals, and in parallel he readies marketing, sales and consulting on this new added value solution.


As a Product Manager at IFS you will be expected to:

  • Collect, analyze and define customer and market requirements for target industries and audiences
  • Contribute to competitive intelligence insights
  • Identify and define product differentiators and unique selling points that makes IFS stand out from competition and market in general
  • Set clear and value-driven priorities for all investment cases
  • Convert business requirements into product investment proposals, product roadmaps, strategy and vision statements
  • Build customer and market value propositions for proposed and decided investment cases
  • Contribute to development of monetization strategies, product packaging and pricing
  • Proficient presenter, inspiring others by using storytelling and experience to showcase how customers benefit from using our products and technologies
  • Present vision, strategy and roadmap
  • Interact, collaborate, share knowledge and experience to create a common understanding of customer needs, challenges and opportunities in our target industries and market
  • Review software designs for fit to market and engineering value proposition
  • Work closely with Program Managers to secure that the intended value of investments is realized
  • Support product marketing functions with product and technology messaging and marketing material
  • Support sales and pre-sales with sales collateral
  • Monitors the financial performance of their product responsibility for consideration in investment decision making
  • Create positive market attention for product and technologies across prospects, customers, analysts and journalists
