Specialising in the assembly, marketing and distribution of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Abans Auto is Sri Lanka’s exclusive authorised distributor for Hero, Piaggio, Vespa and Aprilia scooters and motorcycles, and TVS three-wheelers. More recently, Abans Auto was appointed the authorised distributor for the Hyundai vehicle range in Sri Lanka.
Abans Auto owns signature workshops in Peliyagoda, Panadura and Kurunegala to cater to our customers’ service needs. Through these workshops and the 500+ service and spare part outlets, customers are assured that their vehicles are maintained to the highest standards.
The Role
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and achieve business objectives.
- Source reliable data and create data sets for reporting and decision Making.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Oversee all marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats in the automotive industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
- Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and vendors in the automotive industry.
The Person
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 10 - 12 years proven experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
