As a Senior QA Engineer at PickMe, you will play a crucial role in defining our platform and mobile apps. You will be responsible for testing our platform and mobile apps and providing providing expertise and direction to the testing efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a top-notch engineering team, leverage modern technologies, and drive innovation in the ride-hailing industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured automation test scripts
- Stick to deadlines and deliver the required level of quality
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and execute testing activities
- Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues to stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates on the testing and automation activities
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc. /BA in Computer Science or a related degree with minimum 4 years of experience in the respective field
• Strong Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Strong knowledge in OOP and JAVA
• Experience in using Selenium Web driver
• Experience in API test automation in Rest-Assured
• Experience with Mobile test automation using Appium (Android/iOS)
• Good knowledge and experience in BDD framework along with Gauge tool will be an added advantage
• Knowledge on CI/CD and supporting tools like Jenkins and Maven Experience in preparing test plan and identify automatable test scenarios
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Ability to work independently
