Entry Requirements
The Person
- A B.sc degree in Engineering in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics or Computer from recognized Sri Lankan University accredited by IESL
- 2 years of working experience after graduation
- knowledge related to the telecommunication industry with latest telecommunications technologies / Systems design and testing protocols / Troubleshooting in modular level.
- Knowledge of Telco industry and products/services.
- Evaluate low level configurations and validate to ensure effective delivery of the intended solutions matching customer expectations.
- Manage executions of validated configurations in the Core, Access, Transport, Data Centre and CPE networks for all Enterprise and retail Data and voice solutions/services within the SLA while ensuring satisfactory service delivery process matching customer expectations.
- Evaluate low level configurations and validate to ensure effective delivery of the intended solution changes matching customer expectations with minimum service interruptions.
- Manage validated configuration changes in the Core, Access, Transport, Data Centre and CPE networks for all Enterprise and retail Data and voice solutions/services within the SLA while ensuring minimum service interruptions matching customer expectations.
- Monitor service availability and ensure confirmation for successful implementation of changes from customer /relevant parties and maintain records/update data repositories.
- Lead and Manage providing required technical expertise and troubleshooting support for field support staff in completing customer solutions at customer sites.
- Lead in providing technical support for field team to validate services and conduct UAT (User Acceptance Tests).
- Manage configuration support activities in service monitoring systems for CPEs that are installed in customer locations by Field installation teams to complete service delivery process.
- Execute processes with other operational and support teams to deliver the Enterprise and retail services and lead the planned conversions and migrations with clear guide lines to the team members to deliver the services within the SLA.
- Develop network & systems Provisioning team members by Initiating training within the team, with other core teams and external parties on areas of improvement and technical knowledge to increase productivity to deliver Enterprise and retail services.
- Implement and monitor low level configurations and validate to ensure effective delivery of the intended solutions matching customer expectations.
- Review service disconnection work orders and decide the required level of service decommissioning activities required and related config changes and removals.
- Enforce Change/Remove the configurations in networks and CPEs for Enterprise and retail services while aligning with equipment removal process.
- Manage the change operation of customer status (Reconnect, Disconnect, temporarily disconnect, bar) with the daily inputs from the Billing activation team to enable accurate tracking and billing of customers for the Enterprise and retail services provided.
