Description
Requirements:
•Degree in Science/Food Science/Applied Science.
•Minimum 2 years of experience in a food processing environment.
•Sound knowledge in implementing and practicing Food Safety Management systems & Organic Certification processes.
•Age below 35 years.
•Good communication skills and an excellent team player.
Job Role:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, buyer standards and company policies.
- Work with the quality team to ensure standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.
- Evaluate and approve raw materials, packing materials, chemicals and inspect quality of production-in- process and finished goods.
- Monitor and analyze quality performances and resolve quality issues and customer complaints.
- Document and maintain QA reports as required for quality audits.
- Coordinate with external agencies for certifications and regulatory compliance.
The company is in the Sapugaskanda area and candidates in and around this area would be preferred.
