QA Manager - Automation

Experience

• 12 years of Quality Assurance experience
• 7 years of experience as a Functional Tester, including Test Estimation, Test Planning, Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, and Test Reporting
• 5 years of experience building automated tests (Functional, Non-Functional)
• 5 years of Experience in Test Automation using Selenium and automation tools

Skills

• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts and Automation frameworks development and Maintenance
• Strong Knowledge and Hands-on Experience in at least one of the programming languages: Java/.Net/Python/JavaScript/Groovy
• Hands-on Experience with at least one of Selenium/SoapUI/JMeter based automation, focusing on coding the tests
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and XML (XPATH, namespaces)
• Ability to conduct Peer/Lead Review on automation script
• Cross-train and mentor other team members on automation framework and scripts development
• Test Data management, including designing, creating, and maintaining test data to support quality testing
• Good understanding of ETL and Data Migration testing approach and testing experience
• Experience with ETL Testing tools and hands-on Experience of PL/SQL with knowledge in database concepts and SQL
• Stays current on recent and emerging trends in software testing for continuous process improvement
• Experience in Web Service Automation (REST/SOAP) with at least one of SOAP UI/Postman/Rest Assured Framework
• Sound knowledge in CI/CD implementations
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodology and process
• Familiarity with Microservices Software Development Life Cycle and Insurance domain knowledge
• Experience working in MuleSoft Platform
• Experience in Data-driven projects and managing QA engagements, with Project Management skills
• Familiarity with Performance testing tool Like JMeter, Microservices architecture (Rest APIs, Different database technologies, Messaging Systems like Kafka, etc.)
• Ability to work in a Linux based environment with a basic understanding of Linux commands
• Team Management skills
• Nice to have: Experience in Cucumber, Non-Functional Testing Experience, Data Analytics experience with Python, Salesforce testing Experience, Pega testing experience, Awareness of AWS
