QA Lead - Automation Testing

We are looking for QA Engineer - Automation (Cypress) to join our dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate test automation frameworks and tools. Ensure that the automated tests cover all relevant test scenarios and adhere to coding standards.</li><li>Implement automated tests to validate the functionality and integrity of application programming interfaces (APIs) and their integration with other systems.</li><li>Identify, report, and track defects through resolution. Work closely with developers to ensure timely bug fixes and perform root cause analysis.</li><li>Collaborate with the infrastructure team to set up and configure test environments that closely resemble the production environment.</li><li>Manage test data and create data sets for automated test execution.</li><li>Document test results, test procedures, and test cases. Provide regular test status reports to stakeholders.</li><li>Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation. Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.</li></ul>Candidate Profile:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.</li><li>More than 02 years of experience as a Software Test Automation Engineer with Cypress.</li><li>Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.</li><li>Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.</li><li>Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or Rest Assured.</li><li>Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.</li><li>Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.</li><li>Detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality software.</li><li>Relevant certifications in test automation or software testing, such as ISTQB-CTAL or similar.</li><li>Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) and tools like Cucumber.</li><li>Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling is a plus.</li></ul>
