Key Responsibilities
- Utilize proficiency in spoken and written Japanese to effectively collaborate with Japanese-speaking team members and stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using the latest tools, technologies, and coding practices.
- Collaborate with the development team to create efficient and scalable mobile solutions.
- Translate product requirements and UI/UX designs into fully functional features and intuitive user interfaces on the Android platform.
- Ensure the application's performance, responsiveness, and stability.
- Conduct code reviews and optimize the Android application codebase for maximum performance, maintainability, and reusability.
- Integrate with various APIs, backend services, and third-party libraries to enhance the application's functionality and data processing capabilities.
- Keep up to date with the latest Android development trends and best practices.
- Continuously improve the user experience by proposing innovative solutions and UI enhancements.
- Monitor app performance and conduct regular profiling to identify areas for optimization.
- Implement improvements to enhance the application's speed and responsiveness.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Japanese is mandatory.
- 2+ years of experience (for Developer) 3+ years of experience (for Senior Developer) in Android app development.
- Candidates holding professional certifications relevant to their respective areas will be considered an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of Android Studio and the Android SDK.
- Proficient with Android development using languages such as Java/Kotlin.
- Strong experience with publishing Android apps.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Familiarity with the general mobile landscape, architecture, trends, and related technologies.
- Understanding of the complete mobile development life cycle.
