Materials Management Consultant – SAP

We are looking for a Materials Management Consultant – SAP to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to understand their business processes and requirements related to materials management.
• Configure SAP MM module settings to meet client requirements, including master data, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MM with other SAP modules such as SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and WM (Warehouse Management).
• Provide expertise in SAP MM functionality, including but not limited to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipt, invoice verification, and material valuation.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions to empower client teams with SAP MM knowledge and skills.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement using SAP MM functionality.
• Assist in testing and quality assurance activities related to SAP MM module configuration and customizations.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP MM systems, including troubleshooting issues, implementing bug fixes, and applying patches and upgrades.
• Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in SAP MM module and proactively share knowledge with team members and clients.
• Participate in pre-sales activities such as solution demonstrations, proposal preparation, and client presentations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Consultant, with experience in at least two full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM module functionalities, including configuration, master data management, and integration with other SAP modules.
• Strong understanding of materials management processes in manufacturing, retail, or distribution industries.
• Proficiency in SAP MM configuration tools such as IMG (Implementation Guide) and SAP Solution Manager.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Having SAP certification in Materials Management (MM) would be an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
