Job Profile
- Ensuring property titles are clear involves resolving legal issues and negotiating leases. This includes liaising with lessors and their legal representatives to secure formal signing and acceptance of lease terms by both lessors and lessees, ensuring clarity on all conditions outlined in the lease document
- Maintaining secretarial compliance by adhering to regulatory and legal requirements mandated by government authorities for proper functioning and governance of the company
- Liaising with parent company, its secretaries and submission of required legal compliance information.
- Advising the management on compliance with applicable laws and regulations and liaising with legal counselors for any consultations and advises which requires for the company
- Reviewing, drafting and advising of ad hoc legal & commercial agreements and documents
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Attorney at law, Notary Public and Company Secretary
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB), having a Master's degree in Law (LLM) will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in working with the land registry, drafting and executions of lease agreements and other conveyancing practices is mandatory
- In-depth understanding of corporate law, commercial law, contract law, intellectual property law, employment law, regulatory compliance, and other relevant legal areas.
- Familiarity with local, national, and international legal frameworks and regulations Proficiency in negotiating contracts, agreements, and settlements.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and interpreting legal documents such as contracts, policies, and legal opinions
