To deliver the ultimate customer experience our presales teams have a need for support in building amazing demos.

Setting-up a service to support presales through the creation of configurations, customizations, data loading and integrations will make the presales teams more efficient in delivering high quality custom demos.

Joining the Presales Support Service team is a unique opportunity to see and experience the way we engage with our customers on their buying journey. Since this is a new service, you will be part of something from the very beginning and help shape what it becomes.

Job Summary

As the Manager – Presales Support Service you will take responsibility and accountability to develop a support service in the global presales organization at IFS.

You will make sure that the team delivers a high-quality service in the timelines agreed with the presales teams.

Your team will be engaged through a request process by presales teams globally. After confirming the scope and customer requirements the consultants and software engineers will take responsibility in building a high-quality building block of the demo storyline, such as configurations (e.g. custom pages, lobbies, workflows), customizations, data loads and integrations. The created building blocks will be documented and stored in a library for re-use.

Achieving this work will require passion, attention to detail and an understanding of how to drive excellence across teams. Setting-up the service will require planning, change management and alignment with the presales leadership teams.

Required Education & Experience


  • Appropriate post graduate education, University degree, or equivalent professional qualifications, in a field relevant for the functional area
  • A solid duration of experience in a software company within consulting or other customer facing group
  • Work experience 5+ years in relevant industry setting and 2+ years as manager
  • Fluency in English (verbal and written) and local language


  • Understanding of presales and sales methods and processes in a software company
  • Experience delivering ERP/IT projects in a relevant industry setting
  • Experience in building and leading teams
  • Recruit, train, assign and retain top-performing professionals for the team
  • Coordinate and collaborate with presales leadership and take responsibility for high quality deliveries
  • Perform employee appraisals and coach team members for high performance and continuous development
  • Work together with presales leadership to implement policies and guidelines to ensure a stable, cost-effective and viable service
  • Communicate organization information, business plans, decisions, goals, targets and promote the organization vision, mission and core values
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ground rules, local and international laws and regulations
  • Take responsibility for the work environment, health and safety, and organizational culture
  • Enhance operational procedure, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and systems
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Administrate attendance, leave plans, time/cost reporting, and keeping systems and records up to date.
