Intern – Network Operations

How you will make an impact: 

• Proactively monitor network performance and identify anomalies or issues.
• Work with network monitoring tools to ensure smooth operation of the network.
• Collaborate with network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues within the SLA.
• Participate in configuring and maintaining of the networking equipment (Firewalls, Routers, Switches etc.)
• Contribute to updating and modifying network related configurations based on organizational standards.
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Participate in periodic network device maintenance.
• Participate in Major incident discussions with support teams and incident management teams leveraging support where possible on tasks. 
• Take part in innovation and development of Automation software / In house tools to support the operations and reduce the workload. ​​​​​​​

What we look for:

• An undergraduate from a recognized university reading for a degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, IT, or any other related discipline.
• Willingness to work in a roster-based working environment
• Self-paced or hands-on Networking and firewall environments such as basic installation, basic commands, configurations and basic capabilities.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Good knowledge of networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills along with problem-solving skills
