a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager - Training & Development to help us achieve excellence in service and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and coordinate comprehensive training programs for all hotel properties and HQ Conduct on-site training sessions and workshops at various hotel locations
  • Assess training needs and develop customised training solutions to meet those needs
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure training initiatives align with company goals and objectives
  • Work with outside trainers and training organisations to bring specialised programs to our employees
  • Maintain up-to-date records of training activities and employee progress
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organisation


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a training and development role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of training methodologies and adult learning principles
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Sinhala
  • Ability to travel frequently to various hotel properties
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with e-learning platforms
