Role Summary

Experienced project professional who demonstrates an ability to manage moderately complex to complex projects. Minimum 02 years of experience is required as a Level 3 Assistant PM.

Associate Project Manager demonstrates the capabilities of a responsible leader, have the ability to manage moderately complex to complex projects. Associate Project Manager is in charge of schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for moderately complexto complex project. Monitors teams to make sure goals and objectives are being met. Knowledge of larger landscape without neglecting granular details while tracking project health, staying alert for risks, and resolving issues as they arise. Maintains standards and monitors scope with project quality.

Job Description

  • Plan and manage small/medium to large scale projects from start to finish.
  • Responsible for the overall delivery of projects ensuring smooth resource planning.
  • Adhere to the PM methodology with standards for governance, documentation, and data.
  • Track progress towards project goals and provide status updates regularly to all internal and external stakeholders.
  • Implement project activities by resourcing, scheduling, prioritization and task coordination as per the project management plan.
  • Liaise with customers, internal stakeholders and principals to address needs, concerns, and expectations of the stakeholders in planning and executing the project.
  • Establish, maintain and carry out communication with all internal and external stakeholders in an effective and collaborative manner.
  • Identify, maintain and provide mitigation/action plan for project risks and issues.
  • Evaluate and monitor schedules, budgets and other project activities.
  • Update domain knowledge through available opportunities.
  • Provide inputs to improve existing project management practice in the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Associate Project Manager is required to complete the project deliverables, obtain the sign-off and advise business to complete invoicing and close the project or handover to support.
  • Associate Project Manager is the SPOC to customer.
  • Responsible for managing the complete project implementation life cycle, in collaboration with the customer.
  • Associate Project Managers is expected to have gone through Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Qualification training.
  • Project Management Training, Leadership training are recommended.
  • Mentoring, know-how transfer, conferences to gain new knowledge of current industry trends are recommended.
  • Providing guidance and support to Assistant Project Managers as & when needed.
  • Provide other functions with support beyond scope of responsibilities in order to achieve common organizational goals.
  • Undertake any other business-related tasks requested by the Line Manager.

Person Specification

  • Basic University degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 training is an advantage.
