Description
Job Role:
- Analyze and implement cybersecurity methodologies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Firewalls, VPN, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, Web Application Firewall, EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and PAM (Privileged Access Management).
- Coordinate with external service providers for internal vulnerability assessments.
- Conduct periodic reviews of information systems for security compliance and privileged access log audits.
- Participate in and represent IT during Information Systems audits.
- Manage user account lifecycle, ensuring timely creation, deletion, and deactivation based on approvals and terminations.
- Perform daily administration of security systems to maintain optimal functionality.
- Ensure endpoint security by managing the patch lifecycle for operating systems and third-party applications across all company PCs.
- Review and maintain agreements and contracts with third-party service providers and assist in resolving escalated support tickets.
- Monitor and manage malware protection and antivirus systems, taking immediate action on incidents.
Job Pre-Requisites:
- Bachelor's degree in information security, Computer Science, or IT from a recognized institution. Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Product certifications like CCNA, CCNP, and MCSE are advantageous.
- Preferred certifications in Information Security or related products.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in cybersecurity incident management. Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Thorough understanding of information security concepts, threats, vulnerabilities, and controls.
