The Brand / Category Design Lead is responsible for leading development of design solutions for the assigned brands / categories. Leads a team of designers for concepts creation and effective development of designs to meet the design hit rate, lead time and profitability objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead planning of design objectives and action plans for the assigned brands / categories
2. Drive synergies with the internal teams (Marketing, CFTs, Group Design) for delivering innovative, production feasible and profitable design solutions
3. Manage effective customer and SME relationships for implementation of strategic design initiatives, including LRP execution, CRI, etc. for the assigned brand / Category
4. Lead and manage the team of Designers for the assigned Brand / Category towards achieving functional objectives.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Designing / Clothing Technology
Experience
6+ years’ experience in Apparel design & development
