Specialist - Social Innovation for Sustainability

Promote long-term sustainability through customer-centric innovation, audits for socio-economic development, and inclusive digital initiatives. Develop and maintain socially and environmentally valuable products or services, collaborating with partners and addressing market failures, irrespective of strict financial criteria.

• Drive long-term sustainability through customer-centric innovation, audits for socio-economic development, and inclusive digital initiatives.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and community groups, to understand their ESG expectations and concerns.
• Communicate the company's ESG initiatives and performance to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other communication channels.
• Collect, analyze, and report on relevant ESG data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Implement new products, services, and processes as proposed within the Division and under the direction of the immediate supervisor.
• Develop Proofs of Concept, prototypes, and define Terms of Reference (TORs) and success criteria.
• Manage the transition to developing and implementing line divisions, guide execution, and institutionalize innovations into Business as Usual.
• Understand stakeholder needs to identify opportunities in product, process, or service innovation.
• Identify drivers and problem scope in cases of market failures, develop alternative solutions, and identify stakeholders and potential partners.
• Maintain existing products, services, and processes within the Division, developing a Net Value rationale for socially or environmentally valuable creations.
• Implement cost-effective methods for project execution, ensuring effective cost management.

Entry Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.Postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in relevant field, with one or more years in a job-related function
• Strong Knowledge in statistical analysis, monitoring, and evaluation
