Commitment
The role will be full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm sharp with occasional weekend work. Some changes to working days may be required depending on our booking schedule, with extra time paid or by taking time off on other days.
Role Objective:
As the Head of Sales (B2B) at Tuktuk Rental.com, you will lead our business-to-business (B2B) sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence. You will be responsible for building and managing a high-performing sales team, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing effective sales processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets in the travel or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B sales strategy aligned with company objectives to acquire new partners, increase sales revenue, and expand market share.
- Build relationships with local and overseas travel agents and tour operators and grow the volume of sales that are generated through these channels.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance and mentorship to drive individual and team success.
- Business Development: Identify and prioritize target markets and industries for B2B sales opportunities. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to generate leads and close sales deals.
- Partnership Management: Develop strategic partnerships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other relevant B2B entities. Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships to maximize mutual business opportunities.
- Sales Process Optimization: Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and tools to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance sales productivity. Ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement. Develop and report on sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing and customer experience teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Ensure seamless communication and coordination to support customer acquisition and retention efforts.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Leverage market insights to identify growth opportunities, refine sales strategies, and differentiate Tuktuk Rental.com in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales leadership roles, ideally within travel, tourism, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and effective team management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analytics.
- Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Passion for the travel and tourism industry is a plus.
