Description
- 3+ years of experience in a similar capacity at a reputed organisation, preferably in the service industry
- An associate member of ACCA(UK) / Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka
- An MBA from a recognized university in the field of Finance / Accounting is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards and tax-related matters
- Having prior audit experience will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Assist senior management in business planning and strategy formulation while leading the finance-related functions of the company
- Oversee all finance and accounting functions including budgeting, costing, cash flow management, payroll, and management reporting
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and management reports to the senior management for decision-making
- Ensure all accounting is done in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Liaise with financial institutions, insurance agencies, and statutory bodies such as the Inland Revenue Department
- Proper treasury management to ensure company funds are managed effectively
- Ensure credit control is managed effectively for proper cash-flow utilization
- Coordinate with other divisions on a daily basis to ensure timely invoicing and releasing of payments as well as resolving other accounting/tax-related matters efficiently
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure that the annual financial audit is conducted properly
- Coach and manage the Finance Team
