Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across the full technology stack, with strong backend experience in Java Spring Boot, frontend expertise in React or Angular, and hands-on proficiency with containerisation and CI/CD practices. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java Spring Boot.
- Build interactive and responsive user interfaces using React or Angular.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable deployments.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and best engineering practices.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, performance optimizations, and scalability improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and promote continuous knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot for backend development.
- Proven experience with modern frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
- Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
- Experience with automated testing frameworks for backend and frontend.
