Senior Data Architect

The Senior Data Architect will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture strategies. This role ensures data integrity, scalability, and performance across platforms while aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements. Senior Data Engineer and Data engineers will be directly reporting to the candidate.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint, including data lakes, warehouses, marts, and real-time analytics platforms.
• Lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Databricks).
• Develop and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Guide the implementation of data models, ETL pipelines, and integration patterns across structured and unstructured data sources.
• Provide technical leadership on big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hive, Kafka), relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), and NoSQL platforms.
• Collaborate with application architects, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure alignment of data architecture with business needs.
• Lead architecture reviews and signoffs for data-related projects in compliance with governance standards.
• Support operational data store (ODS) initiatives and real-time data requirements.
• Drive innovation in data analytics, machine learning, and AI capabilities

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or database management.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud services, data modeling, and ETL frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and data governance principles.
