About the role:

This role is responsible for liaising with potential candidates, recruiters, and internal stakeholders to ensure recruitment pipeline expectations are met. This involves ensuring that the required number of candidates are available at the right time to avoid delays to the recruitment SLA’s. It also involves acquiring potential candidates through direct or indirect recruitment channels, screening applications, driving applicants through assessment centers and interviews processes, providing feedback to rejected candidates, carrying out recruitment related documentation and procedures, to enable the hiring of right candidates at the right time to match required competencies for the role while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Job Requirements :

  • Full or partial qualification in Human Resources Management or other professional qualifications.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role is a must.
  • Hands-on experience in hiring large scale recruitment numbers and managing the recruitment funnel in a systematic manner.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites required.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills (must be fluent in written and spoken English which will be tested).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude and a pleasant personality is a must.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to work from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm to align to operational requirements. Workdays are from Monday to Friday. However, there may be occasions where urgent demands will require individuals to work later hours.
  • Monitor and maintain healthy relationships with approved recruitment agencies. All recruiters must have a contract that stipulates ability to deliver required numbers on time.
  • Ensure recruitment agencies deliver required numbers of candidate applications on time with no delays to recruitment pipeline or go live date.
  • Create and publish job ads in various recruiting portals including Social Media platforms.
  • Network with potential hires through professional groups on social platforms.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to set qualification criteria’s for hiring requirements.
  • Screen resumes and job applications based on required criteria of the job role.
  • Conduct initial phone screening sessions to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Track hiring metrics including time-to-hire, time-to-fill, and source of hire on company HRIS.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process and provide timely, accurate updates which includes immediate feedback to rejected candidates.
  • Maintain a database of potential candidates based on hiring instructions received.
  • Coordinate with Learning and Development to set criteria for questions and assessment structure.
  • Organize and conduct assessment centers for specific roles and ensure relevant assessors are notified early and booked by calendar invite.
  • Ensure that recruitment for a specific role is completed within 15 working days to ensure recruitment is in line with department specific go live date.
  • Ensure that selected and offered employees are onboarded through Muve’s induction process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate delegate participation in induction which includes ensuring all delegates have systems access, EdApp user account, Laptop, IDs, and completion of related HR documentation.
  • Post induction, introduce new candidates to the business and hand over of delegates to respective business areas.
