Description
To lead the QA function across projects and platforms, ensuring robust testing strategies, process compliance, and continuous improvement in software quality. The QA Lead will drive the testing lifecycle, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold delivery standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Define and implement QA strategy, test plans, and automation frameworks.
- Lead and manage the QA team, including task allocation, performance reviews, and skill development.
- Ensure compliance with ISO29119 and internal testing frameworks.
- Oversee UAT execution, defect triage, and escalation protocols.
- Collaborate with PMs, BAs, and developers to ensure quality gates are met.
- Maintain QA dashboards and report via tools like Jira.
- Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Participate in governance reviews and signoffs for critical releases
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years in QA roles, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter, Jira).
- Certifications in ISTQB, Six Sigma, or equivalent preferred
