Medical Officer

Role Description (Critical care experience will be added advantage)

Durdans Hospital in Colpetty is seeking a full-time Medical Officer to provide medical care to patients in an on-site setting. The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing patient care, training, and surgery, as well as working with physicians to develop treatment plans and procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• SLMC Registration (Valid medical license in Sri Lanka)
• Completion of 1 year Government internship (Completion of residency program in the relevant field is preferred)
• Experience in patient care, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, and emergency response procedures
• Training skills in areas including disease management, patient care, and medical procedures
• Experience in surgical procedures and operations
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
