Manager – Compliance

Main Responsibilities:

This position is mainly responsible to assist the Chief Compliance Officer in creating a robust Compliance culture within the Bank and ensure that operations of the Bank are carried out, keeping in line with stipulated regulatory requirements and laid down internal procedures.

Candidate Profile

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance from a recognized university or in any other discipline acceptable to the Bank or any other professional qualification equivalent to a degree acceptable to the Bank.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, risk, or internal audit in a financial institution. However, having not less than 3 years’ experience in Compliance department of a Bank /NBFI will be an added qualification.
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to Banks and a strong desire to learn and understand the new trends in Compliance.
• High level of analytical skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in both oral and written communication in English
• High level of Leadership qualities required to drive a robust Compliance culture
