Teardrop Hotels seeks a proactive Health and Safety Assistant Manager to oversee safety, hygiene, sustainability, and security protocols across our properties.
Key Responsibilities
Licenses & Permits
- Obtain and manage business licenses and permits
- Collect and maintain official documents
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials
- Maintain both original and duplicate files
Safety & Hygiene
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
- Manage budgets and stock control for hygiene consumables
- Conduct compliance audits and inspections
- Provide training and liaise with third-party stakeholders
Sustainability
- Coordinate sustainability programs and initiatives
- Implement and maintain internal sustainability training Manage sustainability budgets
- Collaborate with managers on sustainability projects
Security
- Liaise with security companies to maintain service level
- Conduct random security inspections and checks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of safety, hygiene, and sustainability practices
- Strong organisational and document management skills
- Excellent communication and training abilities
