Description
The role holder will be on the shop floor, supporting the Manufacturing and Production Engineering pillar and assisting in the implementation of group production, automation, and innovation requirements. This includes an understanding of customer and production requirements, as well as automation and innovation needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- The individual should possess the willingness and desire to work on the production floor and understand sewing operations in the areas below to implement automation smoothly, while collaborating with the plant team for automation implementation
- Garment Sewing Techniques and Methods
- Industrial Engineering
- Understanding of sewing machine types and attachments
- Understanding of operators' behavior and attitude
- Understanding the basic technicalities of fabric and cut panel quality
- Understanding of automation machine functions and programming
- Collaborate with the pertinent internal teams to ensure effective production planning and execution
- Adapt technology and innovation initiatives within the plant to enhance operational efficiency
Education
BSc in Engineering in Production / Manufacturing, Mechanical or Mechatronics.
Experience
Possess good communication skills, analytical skills, working knowledge of IT systems / Microsoft packages
