General Manager - Freight Forwarding/ Supply Chain/ Logistics

An internationally reputed Shipping & Logistics company, with a wide range of service is seeking a General Manager - Freight Forwarding/ Supply Chain/ Logistics. 

Seeking a result oriented individual to head the Freight Forwarding & Logistics SBU/division.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experienced in leading and driving a Freight Forwarding/ Logistics team in achieving company goals.
• Overseas experience is an added advantage.
• Have a "sales focus" and the ability to drive the strategic expansion of the unit with teamwork and prudent planning.
• Identify business opportunities and enhance the company's growth through synergies with other in-house SBUS.
• Foster client relationships and excellence in customer satisfaction.
• Over 10 years of experience within the Freight Forwarding & Logistics industry, out of which 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Proven record of successful leadership and business development.
• Grasp and interpret financial data.
• A degree in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or an equivalent qualification from a recognized/ professional institute will be an added advantage.
