Description
Your primary responsibilities includes,
- Maintain and enhance the overall ambiance of the Front Area/Checkout counters, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Oversee staff grooming, welfare, and training needs.
- Execute directions from the Outlet Manager and cover the Duty Manager's shift when required.
- Conduct staff briefings and manage customer inquiries, resolving any issues to meet customer requirements.
- Minimize customer complaints, aiming for no more than two per month.
- Prepare and manage the front office roster, especially during special holidays, and
- monitor and approve leave for front office staff.
- Ensure excellent customer service and control all overhead costs.
- Collaborate with the security department on refunds and finalize daily POS operations accurately.
- Handle settlement of EDC machines and maintain discipline among Cashiers, Baggers, and related staff.
- Educate front office staff on ongoing promotions, display promotional materials, and ensure accurate documentation is sent to the head office on time.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Diploma or Degree in Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail industry.
- Strong people management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of front office operations and customer service
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
