Executive - Packaging Development (Dankotuwa)

The position holder will report to the Assistant Manager Packaging Development and will be responsible to execute packaging development plan including new packaging development & packaging improvements, in line with the Business objectives. In addition, will also be accountable for;

• Assist to reduce packaging costs through development initiatives by raising technical specifications and sustainable packaging.
• Support to Develop new standards/specifications to improve the existing packaging materials.
• Work with Plant/QA and packaging material suppliers to iron out packaging material related issues.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering in packaging material for the business responsible. Update and recommend new packing trends.

Who We Want

• Bachelors Degree in Physical Science or Engineering Technology from a recognized institute.
• 1-2 years of experience in similar capacity with technical skills.
• Exposure to Packaging Development in FMCG industry will be considered.
• Experience in AutoCAD/ Solid Works/Solid Edge will be considered.
