The SBU Finance Lead is responsible for overseeing preparation and management of SBU budget that includes capital expenditure and overheads forecasts across functions and factories. The role holder is also responsible for driving implementation of value creation initiatives in the SBU. Ensuring adherence to governance and internal control systems and addressing deviations, if any, is critical to the role holder.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for overseeing and monitoring budgeting process for all factories in the SBU
2. Oversee overheads projection, monitor target vs actuals (monthly/ quarterly) and suggest corrective actions
3. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders for value creation and LRP projects (cost optimization, expansion, location strategy, etc.)
4. Ensure governance and internal control mechanisms are in built at the factories, monitor and report any deviations
5. Lead and manage the team for achievement of the functional objectives
Education
Chartered Accountant (CA) or Charted Institute Of Management Accountants (CIMA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/ Financial/ Business Management
Experience
7 to 8+ years of relevant experience with a strong knowledge of financial budgeting, overhead management, financial accounting concepts. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Factory Accountant is a must
