Description
The Chief Manager of Retail Banking is responsible for driving the strategic direction, development, and performance of the retail banking division, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall goals. This role includes overseeing product management—such as pawning, leasing, consumer assets and liabilities sales, and cards—while driving business development, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Furthermore, this role will manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and lead a team of professionals to develop and sustain a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement, to maximize the sales and other business objectives of SDB Bank.
Candidate Profile
- An MBA or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- A bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Professional Qualification specialized in Accounting or Business Management from a recognized professional body.
- Minimum of 10 - 20 years’ experience in a relevant field, out of which, 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager related to Retail Banking.
- Hands-on experience in Retail Banking in a Senior Management position.
- Very good knowledge of banking processes and regulations.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
