Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand and analyze their apparel manufacturing processes and requirements.
- Conduct process mapping and identify areas for improvement within the apparel industry.
- Advise on and implement manufacturing planning software tailored to client needs, including customization for fabric cutting, sewing, embellishments, and quality control.
- Provide training and ongoing support to ensure successful software adoption.
- Develop and maintain capacity planning models, coordinating with production and sales teams to create and monitor production schedules.
- Continuously track production progress, generate performance reports, and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and address any quality-related issues in collaboration with client teams.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in apparel planning, manufacturing planning, and software implementation.
- Familiarity with manufacturing planning software and ERP systems, specifically in the apparel industry.
- Hands-on experience with a planning tool such as Fast React, Datatex or Preactor is a must.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of apparel production processes is a plus.
