Description
- 2-3 years’ Experience in System Engineering support (Network Operation/Network Security/ system operation) support
- Router/Switch trouble shootings. Understanding about routing protocols like BGP will be added advantage
- Knowledge in SolarWinds Alert monitoring/creations will be added advantage
- Microsoft office 365 / Active directory / Azure knowledge will be added advantage
- Nice to have previous experience in Monitoring tools and Scripting knowledge (PowerShell)
- Experience in incident management, problem management, change management
- Experience in L1 and L2 end user support for infrastructure and application support
- Experience in VM Environments, Network troubleshooting
- Ability to understand and escalate issues
- Willing to learn new technologies
- ITIL v3/4 knowledge
- Knowledge in Ivanti/LANDESK/SCCM is preferred
- Knowledge in MS Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 is an advantage
- On-prem to cloud migration experience will be highly considered for this position
- Experience in Network/ Windows Servers support
- Experience in Oracle-DB
- Experience operating a 24x7 operations center
- A /MCP/MCSE/MCSA/MCTS/MCITP certifications are highly advantage
- CCNA/CCNP
- Excellent communication skills
- Willing to learn new technologies
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 technical support for users/Systems
- Positive attitude towards continues service improvements and task automation
- Able to follow the given process and maintain Process documents
- On call after hours for guidance and issue escalation
- Ensure notification and resolution requirements are met within the timeframe
- Manage and mentor offshore team
- Work with both Technical and Business Users and offshore helpdesk team
