Teardrop Hotels is a collection of 7 stylish, luxury boutique hotels and tea bungalows in distinct regions across the island. We are looking for an Accounts Executive Responsibilities<ul><li>Revenue collection, reconciliation, and processing in QuickBooks</li><li>Inventory management and procurement</li><li>Supplier invoice management and payment processing</li><li>Petty cash handling and reimbursements</li><li>Preparation of month-end financial reports</li></ul> Prerequisites<ul><li>AAT Part Qualified, Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university or institution</li><li>Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role</li><li>Practical experience with QuickBooks and/or Hotel Property Management Systems is preferred</li><li>Strong computer literacy with effective written and verbal</li><li>communication skills in English</li><li>Ability to work independently, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision</li><li>Residing in and around Minuwangoda will be an added advantage</li></ul>

<ul><li>As part of this position, you will be responsible for the following tasks:</li><li>Duties will include Managing the Investment Portfolio</li><li>Execute fund transfer and loan settlement instructions to the bank</li><li>Periodic preparation and analysis of group level Treasury reports &amp; statements</li><li>Assist to manage the day-to-day treasury and working capital management duties</li></ul>The person<ul><li>A degree from a recognized University in Finance</li><li>This role would suit for part qualification with CIMA, ACCA or ACA. I-laving understanding of treasury</li><li>and core finance principles and exposure with treasury related experience will be added advantage.</li><li>Excellent communication skills written and verbal together with an inquisitive &amp; self-driven personality with the ability to obtain information from a wide variety of sources are prerequisites.</li><li>An attractive remuneration package awaits the right candidate.</li></ul>

Treasury/Accounts Executive

Your primary responsibilities includes,<ul><li>Actively follow up with debtors using debtor statements to ensure timely recovery of receivables within the assigned credit period.</li><li>Prepare and maintain accurate debtor reconciliations, generate related reports, and participate in meetings to discuss outstanding accounts.</li><li>Assist in accounts receivable (AR) functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account management.</li><li>Handle and ensure compliance with credit-related policies and regulations, maintaining accurate records and documentation.</li><li>Monitor and report on the status of outstanding debts, providing insights and recommendations for improving collection processes.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to accounts receivable.</li></ul>The ideal candidate should possess:• 01-02 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit management is essential.• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is a strong advantage.• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
