Description
- BSc. Degree in Microbiology from a recognized university or institution
- Diploma in MLT/ Post-diploma qualification in Laboratory Technology
- Full registration from SLMC
- More than 10 years' experience in a Medical Testing Laboratory in diverse disciplines
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills
- Prepare, apply and update standard operation procedures.
- Develop and maintain Internal and External quality control schemes and ensures the ISO 15189 and JCI Standard is adhered to all levels
- Assist the visiting Consultant with respect to reporting and improving quality
- Maintain Lab Sectional Stores by ordering from the Main Stores: chemicals, stationery, laboratory ware, general items and equipment according to the reorder level and reorder quantity
- Ensure accuracy in specimen collection, transportation, storage and rejection as specified in Institutional policies
- Preparation and submission of quality reports (antibiotic sensitivity analysis) as and when requested
