Description
- A strong eye for visual composition.
- Proficiency with required publishing tools, Including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Ability to learn new software such as Premier Pro.
- Prior experience in creative journalism / content development is preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field.
- An undergraduate degree - a research component in a biology subject will be an added advantage.
- Excellent proficiency in Sinhala language (both oral and written)
- Fluent in English & Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Ability to draft engaging, clear, and accurate contents on medical related topics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Integrating technical and visual solutions into a design concept.
- Design original art works, including illustrations and infographics.
- Utilise images, fonts and layouts using graphic designing software.
- Utilise new software and Al tools to create content and artworks.
- Compiling scientifically accurate and engaging content for print and digital media.
- Proofreading and editing content with keen attention to detail (Sinhala and English).
- Prioritizing work and to deliver high-quality content to meet marketing targets.
- Working with department coordinators to obtain updated accurate information for communications.
- Researching online to obtain material for articles and social media posts.
- Writing engaging content for signage and promotional videos.
- Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
