Job Role

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of life insurance claims to eligible parties.
  • Oversee claims system intimations, payment processing, and claims reservations.
  • Allocate daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and dispatch departmental correspondence efficiently.
  • Generate regular claims reports, including paid and outstanding claims summaries.
  • Maintain and archive claims records for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
  • Address customer inquiries related to claims with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Maintain high-quality service standards to achieve organizational benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to provide system requirements for new developments or upgrades, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their development through coaching and guidance.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support department objectives.

Job Pre-Requisites:

  • Diploma in Insurance or certificate-level or Licentiate-level qualifications in ACIl, SLII, or III.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in life claims management.
  • Strong knowledge of life claims processes and insurance operations
  • Experience in life underwriting or life servicing will be a distinct advantage.
