Description
Job Role
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of life insurance claims to eligible parties.
- Oversee claims system intimations, payment processing, and claims reservations.
- Allocate daily tasks to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
- Prepare and dispatch departmental correspondence efficiently.
- Generate regular claims reports, including paid and outstanding claims summaries.
- Maintain and archive claims records for easy retrieval and compliance purposes.
- Address customer inquiries related to claims with professionalism and efficiency.
- Maintain high-quality service standards to achieve organizational benchmarks.
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide system requirements for new developments or upgrades, ensuring timely implementation.
- Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support their development through coaching and guidance.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support department objectives.
Job Pre-Requisites:
- Diploma in Insurance or certificate-level or Licentiate-level qualifications in ACIl, SLII, or III.
- 2-3 years of experience in the insurance sector, particularly in life claims management.
- Strong knowledge of life claims processes and insurance operations
- Experience in life underwriting or life servicing will be a distinct advantage.
