Assistant Manager - Accounting Services

We are looking for an experienced accountant to work for a US client. The role offers employment to Sri Lanka's leading BPM Infomate Pvt Limited and an entry to the John Keells Group. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the US client, setting up procedures, ensuring accurate updating of the ledgers and over time migrate more processes and build a team.

We are looking for someone with excellent technical accounting, strong double entry knowledge, good knowledge of financial accounting and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the US client to set up procedures and accounting processes on SAP
• Ensure all ledgers are kept updated and any backlogs are cleared
• Take responsibility for ensuring balance sheet reviews, variance analysis

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA or CIMA
• A background in SAP will be an advantage
• Strong communication skills and confident in conversing on a day to day basis with a principal in the US
• Strong technical accounting skills
• Prior experience in the BPO / BPM industry will be an advantage
